My diploma project is about social problem which is connected to every one of us. More and more people do not see how important is connection with another person or with some animal. Main purpose of this diploma is to pay attention to how close we are, not only for another people or animals but also to themselves. The beginning of my work gives preimary sketches containing ideas and associations related to my topic. The next step was to think of a diploma forms of communication and the definition of the target group. To the present form of a poster I came by rethinking the subject in terms of what is associated with abandonment and loneliness. I came to the conclusion that the best way to achieve the intended effect is to use of images “time-lapse”. For this purpose, I used the space naturally associated with loneliness, alienation.
My target was to createnew, original logo with only five triangles. I wore myself that the logo will be simple and clear. It was important for me that everyone who looks at this once will automatically saw the dog. It was not easy to make what I want but finally I made it. At the end I choice my best logo. I make with it sculpture and model.
Next step was to take photos that make people feel sad and lonely. I decided to take a pictures from two perspective, one as a human and one as an animal. I decided that all of the photos which I make should be black and white, because for me it was obviously that world is in black and white colour when you do not have any connection to any one. Whether from this photos I created a sketches of this places with my logo on it. It all present situation whose everybody feel sad, uncomfortable and of course lonly.
For my museum exhibition I try to show my point of view on this special situation. So I decided to make a sculpture of the people from the net and then I put on some special light on it. The result was that my human cage shadow catch a sculpture of my logo dog. My next step was to create a poster that connect all of my work. When I thought about it I have many ideas. But none of then was as good as this one which I choose. I use the photos which I took and connect them with the net. I use the same net as I use for a human cage. It was obviously way to connect poster with exhibition.
